What is Human design?

Human Design is a personal growth and self-understanding system that combines ancient wisdom - astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah and the chakra system along with quantum physics and genetics. It creates a unique chart for each individual, known as a "Bodygraph," based on the exact time, date, and place of birth. This chart is used to help individuals understand their strengths, weaknesses, and natural decision-making strategies. At the most general level, the system categorizes people into four types—Manifestors, Generators/Manifesting Generators, Projectors, and Reflectors—each with a distinct way of interacting with the world.

The goal of Human Design is to offer insights into how people are naturally wired to engage with life, relationships and work. By following their natural consistent energy flow in their chart, individuals can align with their true nature, leading to greater acceptance, fulfillment and ultimately to less resistance in their lives. Essentially, it’s about discovering how to make decisions that are in harmony with one’s innate energy and purpose.

What are the variables in Human design?

In Human Design, the "variables" refer to four key aspects that influence how a person processes information, interacts with the world and makes decisions. These four aspects of one’s variable - digestion, environment, perspective and motivation - are found beneath the surface of a human design chart, in the “substructure”. They are critical in understanding how a person naturally relates to the world.

Together, they offer a deeper layer of understanding of one's unique design and can guide how to best navigate the world in a way that aligns with their true nature.
